Read & Booth is a small, independent framing business, set up by partners David and James in 2007 who, after having worked together for years, wanted to open an unpretentious and design minded framing store.
With over 30 years of framing experience behind us, we felt we could offer something better than your average framers. We knew that most framing shops are either messy dumping grounds which you'd be afraid to leave your artwork in, or over-the-top gallery affairs. This just isn't us!
We carry out all our framing on the premises, so you don't need to worry about your artwork getting lost or damaged.
In addition to our made-to-measure framing, we carry a selection of hand-finished, ready-made frames, unique gifts, cards and Annie Sloan chalk paint and wax.
All our glass, timber and paper waste is recycled and we do not use nasty plastic bags. We'd much rather use recycled or recyclable paper and twine to wrap and package your artwork.
